Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:
- Operator means Zecure Gaming Limited, a limited company established in Malta with corporate offices at Betsson Experience Centre, Ta' Xbiex Seafront, Ta' Xbiex, XBX 1027, Malta, operating the Rizk Casino brand for Canada via the website rizk-ca.com, under licences issued by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA/CRP/108/2004-05) for players located in the Rest of Canada (ROC) and by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) / iGaming Ontario (license OPIG1231641) for players located in Ontario.
- Rizk Casino means the localized Canadian-facing online gambling service of the Rizk Casino brand provided exclusively through https://rizk-ca.com to eligible players located in Canada, subject to these Terms.
- Website means the online platform accessible at rizk-ca.com and any sub-pages or mobile versions made available by the Operator for Canadian players, as well as any Ontario-dedicated environment operated under the same brand pursuant to AGCO/iGaming Ontario rules.
- Services means all online gambling, betting, casino, live casino, promotional, loyalty, and ancillary services made available to Users by the Operator via the Website.
- User or you means any natural person who accesses the Website, with or without registering an account.
- Player means a User who has successfully completed account registration, passed required verification checks, and is approved by the Operator to place wagers for real money or to participate in bonus or free-play features.
- Account or Player Account means the personal, single, registered account created by a Player on the Website for the purpose of accessing the Services.
- Bet or Wager means any stake, bet, or risk of money or monetary value (including bonus funds, free spins value, or similar) placed by a Player on an outcome of a game, event, or feature offered via the Services.
- Game(s) means any casino, slot, table, live dealer, or other gambling product, including third-party content, made available on the Website.
- Bonus means any promotional value, including but not limited to deposit bonuses, free spins, cashbacks, free bets, or loyalty rewards, credited to a Player Account subject to specific terms and wagering requirements.
- Wagering Requirements means the minimum amount of qualifying bets that must be placed using bonus funds or associated winnings before such bonus funds or winnings may be withdrawn, as specified in the applicable bonus terms.
- Real Money Balance means funds that you have deposited into your Account (and any winnings derived therefrom) which are not subject to any active wagering requirements or restrictions, unless explicitly stated.
- Bonus Balance means the portion of your Account balance that consists of Bonuses and any winnings derived therefrom which remain subject to the applicable bonus terms, including wagering requirements.
- KYC (Know Your Customer) means the identity verification and ongoing due diligence process required by applicable anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) laws and by the Operator's regulators.
- Self-Exclusion means a voluntary measure requested by a Player to block access to the Services for a defined or indefinite period for responsible gambling purposes, including through provincial or national self-exclusion tools where available.
- Ontario Player means a Player located in the province of Ontario who accesses the Services under the AGCO / iGaming Ontario regulatory framework.
- ROC Player means a Player located in Canada but outside Ontario who accesses the Services under the Operator's Malta Gaming Authority licence.
- Business Day means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday in Malta or in the province of Ontario, Canada, on which banks are generally open for business.
- Dispute means any complaint, disagreement, or claim by a Player arising out of or in connection with the Services, including but not limited to game results, account management, bonuses, and payments.
Account Registration
Eligibility and age requirements
- Minimum age: To register and use an Account, you must be at least 19 years of age if you are located in Ontario or any province or territory of Canada in which 19 is the legal age for online gambling, or at least 18 years of age if you are located in a Canadian province or territory where 18 is the legal minimum age for online gambling. You must comply with the stricter applicable legal age in your place of residence and access.
- Location: You may only register and use an Account if you are physically located in Canada at the time of placing wagers. Ontario Players may only access the Ontario-regulated environment; ROC Players access the MGA-regulated environment.
- One account policy: You may hold only one Account with Rizk Casino. Creation or use of multiple accounts (duplicate accounts) is strictly prohibited and may result in suspension, closure, and forfeiture of Bonuses and, in cases of fraud, potential confiscation of winnings subject to applicable law.
Registration process
- Account creation: To open an Account, you must complete the online registration form on rizk-ca.com, providing at a minimum your legal name, date of birth, residential address, email address, and, where requested, your mobile phone number and other information reasonably required by the Operator.
- Email and contact verification: You may be required to verify your email address by clicking a confirmation link, and/or your mobile number through a code sent by SMS, before your Account becomes fully active.
- KYC verification: At registration or at any time thereafter, the Operator may request documents or information to verify your identity, age, address, source of funds, and payment methods, including but not limited to:
- Government-issued photo identification (e.g., passport, driver's licence);
- Proof of address (e.g., utility bill, bank statement);
- Ownership evidence for payment methods used (e.g., copy of bank card, e-wallet screenshot);
- Additional information regarding source of funds or source of wealth, where required by AML/CTF laws or regulators.
- Verification timing: The Operator may restrict, suspend, or close your Account, or withhold withdrawals, until verification procedures are completed to its reasonable satisfaction, in accordance with MGA, AGCO, iGaming Ontario, and applicable Canadian AML/CTF requirements.
User obligations
- Accuracy of data: You must ensure that all information provided during registration and throughout your relationship with Rizk Casino is true, accurate, current, and complete. You must promptly update your details whenever they change. The Operator may rely on information you provide and is entitled to request evidence of any change.
- Password and account security: You are solely responsible for:
- Choosing a strong, unique password and keeping it confidential;
- Ensuring that access credentials are not shared with or disclosed to any third party;
- Logging out after each session and protecting your devices against unauthorized access.
- Prohibited users: You confirm that you are not:
- Self-excluded from Rizk Casino or from any relevant provincial or national gambling self-exclusion program that would lawfully preclude your participation;
- Otherwise prohibited from gambling under the laws of your province/territory or under orders of any court or regulator;
- Acting on behalf of another person or for commercial purposes (no proxy betting or account sharing).
- Regulatory compliance: You agree to cooperate fully with any KYC, AML/CTF, affordability, or source-of-funds checks and to provide requested documentation promptly. Failure to do so may lead to account suspension, reporting to relevant authorities where required, and possible closure.
Betting & Gameplay Rules
General rules for placing bets
- Use of funds: Bets may be placed using:
- Your Real Money Balance; and/or
- Your Bonus Balance, where permitted by the specific bonus terms.
- Minimum and maximum bets: Each Game and table has minimum and maximum stake limits determined by the Operator and/or game provider. These limits are displayed within the relevant Game interface. You are responsible for checking such limits before placing any bet.
- Bet confirmation: A bet is deemed placed and accepted when it is registered on the Operator's servers and appears in your transaction history. If there is any discrepancy between your screen display and the Operator's records, the Operator's records, based on eCOGRA-certified RNG and system logs, will prevail subject to applicable law and regulator review.
- Game rules: Each Game is governed by its own rules, paytables, and, where relevant, return-to-player (RTP) information, accessible within the Game. By participating, you agree to those specific rules in addition to these Terms.
Modification and cancellation of bets
- Finality of bets: Once a bet has been placed and accepted by the system, it cannot normally be cancelled, changed, or withdrawn by you.
- Operator corrections: The Operator reserves the right to void, adjust, or refuse bets in the following circumstances, subject to applicable law and regulator oversight:
- Obvious errors or malfunctions in odds, bet settlement, or game operation (including "palpable errors" or software glitches);
- Technical failures causing bets or game results to be recorded incorrectly;
- Bets placed in breach of these Terms, bonus abuse rules, or applicable law.
Live casino and chat conduct
- Respectful behaviour: When using any live casino, chat, or social features, you must behave respectfully and refrain from:
- Insulting, harassing, threatening, or bullying dealers, staff, or other players;
- Using discriminatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise offensive language;
- Advertising or promoting other services or websites.
- Integrity and fairness: You must not:
- Use software, bots, or any device to gain an unfair advantage;
- Collude with other players or attempt to manipulate game outcomes;
- Exploit technical glitches, latency, or visible errors in live streams.
- Monitoring and recording: Live casino sessions and chats may be recorded and monitored for quality, integrity, security, and regulatory purposes. By participating, you consent to such monitoring in line with the Privacy & Data Protection provisions.
Bonus Terms
Bonus activation and eligibility
- Offer-specific conditions: Each Bonus or promotion available on Rizk Casino is subject to the general terms in this section and any specific terms communicated on the promotions page, in offer banners, emails, or SMS. In case of conflict, the offer-specific terms prevail to the extent permitted by law.
- Eligibility: Bonuses may be limited to certain player segments, provinces, or regulatory environments (e.g., specific offers for Ontario Players versus ROC Players), to new or existing customers, and may require opt-in, bonus codes, or minimum deposits paid in CAD using approved payment methods.
- Activation: A Bonus is typically activated when:
- You meet the qualifying criteria (e.g., minimum deposit or wager); and
- The Bonus is credited to your Account and appears as such in your balance or promotions section.
Wagering requirements and timeframes
- Standard wagering: Unless expressly stated otherwise, Bonuses and any winnings derived from them are subject to wagering requirements that must be completed within the specified period (for example, 30 days from activation) before withdrawal of the bonus-related funds is permitted. The applicable wagering multiple (e.g., 20x, 35x bonus amount) will be clearly displayed with each promotion.
- Contribution of games: Different games may contribute differently towards wagering requirements. For example (illustrative only; see promotion-specific terms):
- Most online slots: up to 100% contribution;
- Table games, live casino: lower or 0% contribution;
- Certain games: excluded altogether.
- Expiry: If wagering requirements are not met within the given timeframe, the Bonus and any associated winnings that have not been converted to Real Money Balance will be forfeited, while your deposited funds remain available unless otherwise restricted by law or regulator direction.
Prohibited games and actions
- Game restrictions: Some Bonuses may not be used on particular Games, game categories, or providers. Any such restrictions will be stated in the specific bonus terms. Placing bets on restricted Games using bonus funds may result in those bets being voided and the Bonus being cancelled.
- Bonus abuse: The following, among other behaviours, may be considered bonus abuse:
- Opening multiple accounts to claim the same offer more than once;
- Placing highly unbalanced or low-risk bets solely to inflate wagering (e.g., covering a high percentage of roulette outcomes simultaneously);
- Transferring funds between payment methods or accounts to circumvent limits or KYC checks;
- Deliberately delaying game rounds or using "safe bets" to exploit promotional structures.
Combining promotions and general limitations
- Non-stacking principle: Unless explicitly allowed in the promotion-specific terms, Bonuses cannot be combined. Only one active Bonus may apply to your Account at any given time, and acceptance of a new Bonus may cause existing bonus balances or offers to be cancelled or forfeited.
- Withdrawal before completion: If you request a withdrawal before you have satisfied all wagering requirements linked to an active Bonus, the Operator may, subject to applicable regulations, cancel the Bonus and any bonus-derived winnings, crediting only your remaining Real Money Balance.
- Right to modify or withdraw offers: The Operator may modify, suspend, or withdraw any promotion or Bonus, provided that such change does not adversely affect Bonuses already accepted by Players, except where necessary to comply with law or regulatory instructions. Ontario Players may be subject to additional promotion rules under AGCO and iGaming Ontario standards.
Payments & Withdrawals
Deposit methods and conditions
- Available methods: Rizk Casino supports localized Canadian payment methods, including but not limited to:
- Credit and debit cards (where permitted under card network and provincial rules);
- Interac and other Canadian online banking solutions;
- Selected e-wallets and payment service providers;
- Other methods explicitly listed in the cashier section from time to time.
- Currency and limits: Deposits are generally accepted in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Minimum and maximum deposit limits per transaction, day, or month are displayed in the cashier and may vary by method or regulatory environment (Ontario vs ROC). Limits may also be adjusted based on responsible gambling settings or affordability assessments.
- Fees and processing: The Operator will not charge deposit fees unless clearly disclosed before you confirm the transaction. However, your bank or payment provider may apply their own charges, for which the Operator is not responsible.
Withdrawals
- General principle: Whenever possible, withdrawals will be processed via the same payment method and account used for the relevant deposits (closed-loop principle), subject to technical and regulatory constraints.
- Verification: The Operator may require KYC, AML/CTF, or payment-method ownership verification before approving withdrawals. This may include re-verification even where previous checks have been conducted, especially for higher cumulative withdrawal amounts or risk triggers.
- Processing times: The Operator aims to review and process withdrawal requests within reasonable timeframes, typically within a few Business Days, depending on method and verification status. Actual receipt times may be affected by banks or payment providers and are outside the Operator's direct control.
- Limits and restrictions: Minimum and maximum withdrawal amounts per transaction or period are displayed in the cashier. The Operator may:
- Set or adjust withdrawal limits where required by regulators or risk policies;
- Withhold or delay withdrawals where there is suspicion of fraud, money laundering, bonus abuse, or breach of these Terms, pending investigation.
- Fees: Any withdrawal fees charged by the Operator, if applicable, will be clearly disclosed before you confirm the withdrawal request. You remain responsible for any fees imposed by your bank or payment service provider.
Refunds, chargebacks, and bonus funds
- Refunds of bets: As a rule, bets are final and are not refundable once placed and accepted, except where:
- The Operator voids a bet due to technical error or malfunction; or
- A regulator or applicable law requires or authorizes a refund.
- Chargebacks: You must not request chargebacks or reversals of valid and authorized deposits. If you do so, the Operator may:
- Immediately suspend or close your Account;
- Void bets and Bonuses associated with the disputed payments; and
- Recover any outstanding amounts lawfully owed, including reasonable costs incurred in relation to the chargeback.
- Bonus funds and withdrawals: Bonus funds cannot generally be withdrawn unless and until associated wagering requirements are satisfied. If a Bonus is cancelled or expires, the corresponding Bonus Balance may be removed, while your Real Money Balance remains unaffected unless otherwise required by law or regulation.
Limitation of Liability
Operator obligations and game fairness
- Duty of fairness: The Operator undertakes to provide Games whose Random Number Generator (RNG) and outcomes are tested and certified by independent bodies such as eCOGRA, and to comply with the technical and fairness standards imposed by the Malta Gaming Authority, AGCO, and iGaming Ontario, as applicable.
- Accuracy of results: The Operator will use its best efforts to ensure that:
- Game results are generated and recorded correctly;
- Account balances reflect genuine transactions and game outcomes; and
- Any detected discrepancies are promptly investigated and, where appropriate, corrected.
Exclusions and limitations
- Technical failures: You acknowledge that the Services rely on the internet, external networks, and third-party providers. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator is not liable for losses or damages arising from:
- Interruptions, delays, or failures of network, hardware, software, or communication systems not solely within its control;
- Loss or corruption of data due to events beyond its reasonable control;
- Force majeure events including, but not limited to, power outages, natural disasters, or regulatory actions.
- Indirect damages: To the extent allowed by law, the Operator will not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages;
- Loss of profits, business, goodwill, or data;
- Any damages arising from your failure to comply with these Terms or with game rules.
- Maximum compensation: Subject to applicable mandatory laws and any specific regulatory remedies, the Operator's maximum aggregate liability to you for any single incident or series of connected incidents shall not exceed:
- The amount of the stake or bet involved in the incident; or
- Where the claim does not relate to a particular bet, the lesser of your net deposits during the preceding 90 days or CAD 10,000.
Intellectual Property Rights
Ownership of content and software
- Proprietary rights: All intellectual property rights in and to the Website, Services, software, underlying source code, databases, logos, trademarks (including "Rizk Casino"), text, graphics, audio, video, and any other materials displayed or made available via rizk-ca.com are owned by the Operator, Betsson AB, their affiliates, or their respective licensors.
- Limited licence: Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Website and Services for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes from within Canada.
Prohibited uses
- No copying or distribution: You must not, without prior written consent of the Operator:
- Copy, reproduce, modify, create derivative works from, distribute, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, or otherwise exploit any part of the Website or Services;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to access the source code of the software, except where such activities are expressly permitted by mandatory law and then only to the extent of that permission.
- Third-party content: Games and software provided by third-party suppliers remain their exclusive property and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your use of such content is limited to what is necessary to access and play the Games via rizk-ca.com in accordance with these Terms.
Privacy & Data Protection
The Operator processes personal data of Users and Players in accordance with:
- The privacy policy made available on rizk-ca.com, which forms an integral part of these Terms;
- Applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for MGA-regulated operations and Canada's federal and provincial privacy frameworks (including PIPEDA) for Canadian Players.
By creating an Account or using the Services, you acknowledge that your personal data will be collected, used, stored, and disclosed as described in the privacy policy, including for KYC/AML checks, responsible gambling measures, service provision, security, and regulatory reporting. You should review the privacy policy regularly to understand how your data is handled.
Changes to Terms
Right to amend
- Updates: The Operator may amend these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, regulatory requirements, industry practice, technical developments, or the scope of the Services offered via rizk-ca.com.
- Ontario-specific updates: For Ontario Players, changes may be made to comply with AGCO and iGaming Ontario standards and will be implemented in the Ontario-regulated environment accordingly.
Notification and acceptance
- Notification methods: The Operator will notify you of material changes by one or more of the following:
- Prominent notice or banner on the Website;
- Pop-up message requiring active acknowledgement on login;
- Email to the address registered on your Account.
- Effective date: Unless a later date is specified, changes will take effect on the date indicated in the updated Terms. Continued use of the Services after that date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- Right to discontinue: If you do not agree with any change to these Terms, you must:
- Stop using the Services and close your Account in accordance with the Termination & Suspension section; and
- Contact customer support to withdraw any remaining Real Money Balance, subject to verification and applicable regulations.
Termination & Suspension
Termination by the Player
- Account closure: You may request closure of your Account at any time by contacting customer support at [email protected] or by using any available self-service function on the Website.
- Withdrawal of funds: Upon closure, you may request withdrawal of any remaining Real Money Balance, subject to:
- Completion of all required KYC and AML/CTF checks;
- Resolution of any ongoing investigations or Disputes.
Suspension and termination by the Operator
- Grounds for suspension or closure: The Operator may suspend or terminate your Account, restrict access to the Services, or withhold funds where it reasonably believes that:
- You have breached these Terms, game rules, or bonus conditions;
- You are underage or fail to meet eligibility requirements;
- You have provided false, misleading, or incomplete information;
- Your activity involves or is linked to fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, or other unlawful conduct;
- You have self-excluded or are subject to a relevant exclusion program that legally prevents your participation;
- Required by law, court order, or regulatory instruction.
- Procedure and notification: The Operator will, where legally and practically possible:
- Notify you of the suspension or closure and the main reasons for it using your registered contact details; and
- Provide information on any steps you may take to resolve the issue or appeal the decision, consistent with regulatory requirements.
- Funds on termination: In cases not involving suspected illegality, fraud, or serious breach, the Operator will refund any remaining Real Money Balance to you upon Account closure, subject to verification and any legal or regulatory hold that may apply. In cases involving illegality, fraud, or regulatory instructions, treatment of funds will follow applicable laws and the directions of the relevant regulator (MGA, AGCO, iGaming Ontario, or law enforcement).
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
Applicable law
- Ontario Players: For Players who access the Services from within the province of Ontario, the relationship between you and the Operator, in respect of the Ontario-regulated environment, is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, subject to mandatory consumer protection and gambling regulations administered by AGCO and iGaming Ontario.
- ROC Players: For Players located in Canada but outside Ontario and accessing the Services under the Operator's Malta Gaming Authority licence, these Terms and your relationship with the Operator are governed by the laws of Malta, without prejudice to any mandatory provisions of Canadian law that may apply.
Dispute resolution
- Internal complaints: You must first submit any complaint or Dispute to the Operator's customer support at [email protected], providing full details and any relevant evidence. The Operator will investigate and endeavour to respond within a reasonable period.
- Ontario Players - escalation: If you are an Ontario Player and your complaint remains unresolved after the Operator's internal process, you may escalate it pursuant to AGCO and iGaming Ontario procedures, details of which are available at:
- ROC Players - escalation: If you are a ROC Player and are not satisfied with the Operator's final response, you may:
- Refer the matter to the Malta Gaming Authority's player support service via https://mga.org.mt/support/online-gaming-support; and/or
- Seek remedies before the competent Maltese courts, unless otherwise required by mandatory Canadian law.
- Court jurisdiction: Subject to the above escalation mechanisms and any mandatory consumer protection rules:
- Ontario Players may bring claims before the courts of Ontario, Canada; and
- ROC Players may bring claims before the courts of Malta.
